Kilrush Genealogy Conference 2026: From the Great Famine to the 1926 Census

Kilrush & District Historical Society is pleased to announce a major weekend conference to be held on 9-11 October 2026 in Kilrush, on the Wild Atlantic Way in County Clare, Ireland, celebrating the release of the 1926 Irish Census on 18 April 2026.

Please note that this is an in-person only conference and there are no plans to livestream it.

Established in 2012, the Kilrush & District Historical Society is a voluntary group of individuals who are interested in the history of Kilrush and its environs.

Kilrush & District Historical Society has fundraised for projects ranging from the Kilrush WW1 Memorial to the Restoration and Preservation of Kilrush Churchyard.
